The Mets will send veteran righty Bartolo Colon (6-5, 4.15 ERA) to the bump. Colon has been the Mets' best starter of late, and will look to continue his winning ways this afternoon. Colon picked up a victory in his last time out, allowing two runs over seven innings to beat the San Diego Padres Friday night. The Cardinals will counter with righty Lance Lynn (7-4, 3.16 ERA). Lynn was also strong in his last outing, picking up the win after tossing eight shutout innings against the Washington Nationals.
