Mets 101 Game Preview: New York Mets at Philadelphia Phillies

The New York Mets (25-28) look to make it two in a row against the Philadelphia Phillies (23-28) Friday night at Citizens Bank Park in Philly. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM.

Rafael Montero (0-2, 4.96) will make his debut against the Phillies, coming off an excellent start in the Mets 2-1 loss last Sunday against Arizona. Montero went six innings, allowing just one run on two hits and three walks, while striking out ten. 

A.J. Burnett (3-4, 3.51) will make his twenty-first career start against the Mets and currently holds a lifetime record of 5-6 with a 3.39 ERA and one complete game.
