The New York Mets (24-28) kick off a five-game series with their NL East rival Philadelphia Phillies (23-27) Thursday night at Citizens Bank Park in Philly. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM. It's the start of an eleven-game road trip for the Amazins, who will head to Chicago and then San Francisco, before finally returning home June 10. It could be just what the Mets need, as they've been better this season on the road, going 11-11 (.500) as opposed to just 13-17 (.433) at Citi Field
