Mets 101 Game Preview: Arizona Diamondbacks at New York Mets

After dropping the opening game of their doubleheader 2-1, the New York Mets (21-27) will look to avoid getting swept by the Arizona Diamondbacks (20-31) this afternoon at Citi Field. Arizona has won the first two games of their three game series, and will look to complete the sweep at Citi Field. First pitch for game 2 is scheduled for 4:45 pm Eastern time. It will be a battle of spot starters on the mound as Daisuke Matsuzaka (1-0, 2.14 ERA) and Zeke Spruill (0-2, 5.56 ERA) take the hill for the second half of the doubleheader.
