After rain wiped out the first game of their three game series, the Arizona Diamondbacks and New York Mets will start over again this afternoon at Citi Field. The rain wouldn't let up after the fourth inning last night, which is fortunate for the Mets since they were trailing 2-0 at the time. With the game being made up as part of a doubleheader tomorrow, the Mets would love to snag today's game and get off to a good start in the series. First pitch is scheduled for 4:10 pm.

The Mets will send right hander Zack Wheeler (1-4, 4.53 ERA) will be on the mound for the Mets. Wheeler has struggled of late and took a loss in his last time out, allowing five runs (only three earned) in six innings against the Washington Nationals. The Diamondbacks will send righty Josh Collmenter (2-2, 4.02 ERA) to the hill. Collmenter is coming off a win in his last outing, allowing three runs over 5.1 innings in a 5-3 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
