After dramatic finishes to the first two games of their three game series, the New York Mets (13-11) and Miami Marlins (11-13) have won a game a piece. The Mets walked off against Miami closer Steve Cishek for a 4-3 win Friday night. Miami got even last night as Jarrod Saltamacchia's 10th inning home run off of Kyle Farnsworth lifted the Marlins to a 7-6 win. The two teams will now look to win the rubber game this afternoon at Citi Field. First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 pm.

Dillon Gee (1-1, 3.58 ERA) will take the mound for the Mets. Gee took a tough loss against the St. Louis Cardinals in his last outing on Tuesday, allowing only two runs in six innings. Gee had the misfortune of being matched up with Adam Wainwright, who looks like the best pitcher in baseball at the moment. The Marlins will counter with local product Tom Koehler (2-1, 2.13 ERA), who has delivered four consecutive quality starts to open his season.
