The official schedule for the entire 2014-2015 NBA season won't be announced until 6 p.m. on Wednesday night in a televised event by NBA TV and NBA.com, but some of the games have been slowly leaking out.
According to reports trickled down through the New York Daily News, the Knicks will open up their season on October 29 against Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls.
That is if Rose is finally healthy enough to come back and play, as he missed the majority of the 2013-2014 season with an ACL injury; it was the second time Rose missed most of a season due to the injury. Rose will be joined by new teammate and former Los Angeles Lakers forward Pau Gasol.
On the very next night, the Knicks will then travel to play the Cleveland Cavaliers in their home opener, which will be the official return for LeBron James and the likely debut of Kevin Love; Love has yet to be officially traded but is expected to be dealt on August 23 once Andrew Wiggins is eligible to be dealt.
Also part of the leaked schedule is the Knicks possibly playing on Christmas day at home against the Washington at Madison Square Garden.
More details to come from Knicks 101 once the official schedule has been released later in the night.
