In the ever ongoing saga of where Carmelo Anthony will play next season, his wife La La Anthony has recently come out and said she believes Carmelo wants to “definitely” stay with the New York Knicks.

With rumors running rampant that Anthony is frustrated with the Knicks' losing ways and that he wants a change of scenery and a chance at a title, notably Los Angeles (and to some degree Chicago and Dallas), his wife thinks that when it comes down to it, he wants to stay in New York.

On the Bravo show “Watch What Happens Live”, La La said (via ESPN):

"I definitely think he will stay," La La Anthony said in an interview with Bravo TV's "Watch What Happens Live." "I know that he wants to stay, and I support him wherever he wants to go.

"Listen, I used to live in Denver with him. If I can live in Denver, I can live anywhere. I just want him to be happy."

Anthony can opt out of his contract at the end of the year and many experts have maintained that Anthony wants out of New York. While the Knicks can offer more money to the tune of $129 million over five years, some still believe he will leave the Knicks at the end of the year.

Can Anthony leave that much money on the table? Is the grass that much greener on the other side of the fence?

As for La La, she said that she will allow Carmelo to decide for himself and she will not meddle in his decision.

She added (via ESPN):

"I get blamed for everything. No matter what happens, it's my fault," she said. "[There are] all these talks if he's staying in New York or not, [and] I'm somehow the mastermind behind if he stays or not."

After breaking the Knicks’ record for points scored in one game on Friday with 62 points and following it up with 35 against the Lakers—and the Knicks winning both affairs—Anthony is riding a lot of good will lately. Suffice to say, it should be an interesting month leading up to the trade deadline to see if the Knicks explore the possibility of trading Anthony.
