After New York Knicks owner, James Dolan, decided to record his team's game vs Chicago Bulls in the attempt to protect his star, Carmelo Anthony reacted backing his owners move. The purpose of recording the game was to listen in on how opposing players treated New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony. The incident with Kevin Garnett is what sparked James Dolan to do this.

Carmelo Anthony said in reaction, according to ESPN, "I got an owner that looks out for me" and "you can't beat that for an owner to protect their players… it shows how much loyalty Mr. Dolan has."

It is clear that Carmelo Anthony appreciates the support from his owner. Also Carmelo Anthony has returned to London where he competed in this summers Olympics. He won his second gold medal there, and said "this is where my mindset and focus really started."

Melo appreciates the support of his owner but he is going to receive some more support when he steps on the court in London today at 3:00 PM Eastern time. Iman Shumpert is making his long anticipated return vs the Detroit Pistons in London.

Iman Shumpert will start, but only will play about 15 minutes. This according to ESPN. Iman Shumpert, even with limited minutes can spark this team on offense and defense. New York Knicks coach Mike Woodson said "We'll probably play him in 3 or 4 minutes spans… but three, four minutes is significant in terms of winning games."

Iman Shumpert after a very solid rookie campaign, tore his ACL in the first round of the playoffs last season, and now after missing seven months rehabilitating his knee, he will finally return. Carmelo Anthony hasn't commented but one can only imagine he is excited to have a great athlete, great defender, and the ability to become a great offensive player back on the court with him.

The New York Knicks will play the Detroit Pistons at 3 PM in London. After hearing the bad news about Rasheed Wallace and his unknown return, knowing that Iman Shumpert is back and on his way back to full form should be pleasing for Knicks fans.

Todays starting lineup will be Jason Kidd, Iman Shumpert, Chris Copeland, Carmelo Anthony, and Tyson Chandler. After losing 3 of 4, New York Knicks look to pick up where they left off against New Orleans and pick up a W during there trip to London.
