For yet another week the NFL deals with tragedy, this time on a more national stage, but it cuts closer to home for the New York Jets. The cross stadium rival Giants and Patriots also honored the memory of those lost at Sandy Hook Elementary School last Friday as will the Jets with those initials (S.H.E.S.) tonight.
Tennessee Titans Injury Report
OUT/Inactive: WR Damian Williams (hamstring), DE Scott Solomon (knee), LB Colin McCarthy (concussion), QB Rusty Smith, G Mitch Petrus, OT Daniel Baldridge and LB Xavier Adibi
Probable: QB Jake Locker (shoulder), RB Chris Johnson (ankle), WR Kenny Britt (knee), OT Michael Roos (knee), DE Kamerion Wimbley (toe), DT Jurrell Kasey (knee), S Michael Griffin (neck)
New York Jets Injury Report
Questionable: WR's Clyde Gates (concussion) and Braylon Edwards (hamstring), NT Sione Pouha (low back)
Probable: QB's Mark Sanchez (low back) and Tim Tebow (ribs), RB's Joe McKnight (ankle) and Bilal Powell (shoulder/toe), TE Jeff Cumberland (wrist), LG Matt Slauson (knee), C Nick Mangold (shoulder), RG Brandon Moore (hip), NT Kenrick Ellis (knee), DT Damon Harrison (ankle), OLB Calvin pace (shoulder), ILB Bart Scott (toe), LB Ricky Sapp (ankle), S LaRon Landry (heel)
The final inactive player for the Jets was surprisingly safety Josh Bush, especially as he is not listed on the injury report. Expect more play then for Antonio Allen in the defensive backfield. Ricky Sapp is active this week, so we hope for some pass rush help from him against a Titans line that has four starters on injured reserve.
