On Saturday the New York Jets made one roster move that could have some impact on today's game with the division rival Dolphins, as tight end Hayden Smith, the former rugby player, was promoted off the practice squad due to the injury to Jeff Cumberland, who is inactive. The Jets released wide receiver Jason Hill to make room for Smith, but that should also means Clyde Gates is healthy enough to return to the field. Sione Pouha is active again, and likely to start today at nose tackle.

Also, don't adjust your televisions for the game when you would normally see yellow penalty flags flying and they appear pink. For breast cancer awareness month, the Jets-Dolphins game will be using pink penalty flags. Lastly, don't forget that the Jets will be retiring Dennis Byrd's number 90 at half time, and he will be the last player announced as the Jets defense will lead them onto the field this afternoon.
