Eli Manning, Abby Manning Welcome Baby Number Two into the World

It will certainly be a tremendous holiday for the Manning family as Eli Manning and his wife, Abby Manning, have welcomed their second baby girl into the world.

"The greatest thing about being a dad," Manning told PEOPLE in 2012, "is that [until then] you never realize you can love something immediately in your life."

The happy couple, who have been together since college and were married in 2008, had their first child, Ava Frances, in March of 2010.

Giants 101 would like to congratulate the Manning family and wish them all the very best!

Wow, good for them. I didn’t even know she was pregnant again.

  2. Fars says:

    Grats !

    And great timing too.
(Anyone thinking this happening in the offseason is coincidentally ?)

It means he was bangin’ his wife somewhere around the midseason point. Guess we know where that second half swoon comes from. It’s not Coughlin’s fault–it’s Abby’s! She needs to withhold the **** for the whole season, not just the first half of it! Someone needs to draft a petition…

Really? What are we 12? You do know there are women around, right?

        • kujo says:

          A) If you don’t like my posts, don’t read them

          B) If you don’t like my posts, say so. Don’t try to hide behind a facade of chivlary. It’s 2013, and women can speak (and be spoken to) the same as a man. It’s called equality. If you need more info on that, perhaps go out and meet a woman and tell her all about how you think she should be shielded from “man talk.”

          C) I’ll even make the introduction for you–Jen Polashock, meet the limp-wristed pansy who goes by the name of “purorock.” He thinks you and your fellow women are incapable of dealing with whatever it was that I said that he finds offensive on your part. Do you have a response?

        • Jen Polashock says:

Ummm, “women” don’t “bang”? Stoppit. We are actually all adults here & facetiousness is a large part of posting here. Learn to enjoy it…

Great for Eli and Abby. Pretty good deal for their daughter, too.

Happy Independence Day to all. I’m so thankful to be the beneficiary of what those brave men and women did in 1776. I’m looking forward to a wonderful small town (Kohler, Wisconsin) celebration today. Okay, so they’re cheeseheads. They’re still Americans so okay by me.

Eli’s kids look a lot like mice … only with very large heads.

This year I’ve decided to create a couple of new traditions to commemorate the birth of our country. Firstly, I will no longer be referring to it as the Fourth of July, mainly because I’m not celebrating the successful passage of the 24 hours between midnight on the third day of July and midnight on the fourth day of July. This is Independence Day, which leads me to my second point–prior to barbecue and beer and pool time, myself and my family will read the Declaration of Independence, the document that pronounced, in bold and dangerous terms, that this country would no longer be under the rule of a despot, and would fight to be able to exercise our right to self-governance. Both of these traditions will serve to underscore both the beauty and the responsibility of what Americans celebrate today, more so than the commercialized Hallmark-version of the holiday as currently constituted.

“The Second Day of July 1776, will be the most memorable Epocha, in the History of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated, by succeeding Generations, as the great anniversary Festival. It ought to be commemorated, as the Day of Deliverance by solemn Acts of Devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with Pomp and Parade, with Shews, Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of this Continent to the other from this Time forward forever more.” – John Adams, in a letter to Abigail Adams

He refers, of course, to the fact that the Second Continental Congress approved a resolution to declare independence on the July 2nd, 1776, but didn’t actually approve the document known as The Declaration of Independence until late in the evening on the 4th. What’s more, they weren’t able to get all of the delegates to sign the thing until August 2nd.

Half the country hates the President … and almost all of the country hates the Senate and the Congress.

        • Krow says:

Reelection rates for Senate and Congress is slightly over 90%.

          • rlhjr says:

Just like running in the NFL, the more things change in government, the more they stay the same. Congress has always hated the oval office.
The discourse has existed from the very beginning. George Washington was shocked to find he had absolutely no pull or sway with the congress.

And the “RED TAPE” that caused the delay in finalization of the “Independence” document that Kujo described would have been exactly the same now. Except now congress would have taken paid vacation before reconvening to consider actually sign the document. The senate would most likely have to be informed as to what was going on prior to taking their paid vacation. Our government is at the very least consistent.

Finally, I move we start celebrating Christmas on the 17th of April vice the day after Thanksgiving with the crescendo leading up to the 25th of December. I hope you all had a very happy 4th.

Eli Manning and his wife are pictures of a solid marriage, now two little girls, Ava Frances, 2 years old, and yet to be named baby girl.
Manning is one of the “good guys” in the NFL, and there are plenty more, and they don’t shoot people, drive drunk, get into fights in bars, and just enjoy there freedom, as we do with little attention.
These guys give many dollars to many needy charites, and help victums of crime, hurricanes, and many other charities.
So, today, I celebrate these guys, who play football, a game I love, and in particular Eli Manning and his family.
Your an inspiration to many a fan, on and off the field, god bless you and you wife Abby today, and of course your new baby girl!
