New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks made his way onto the practice field today for the first time this week. Nicks has been battling a knee injury since Week two against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and has played visibly injured since then. It's not unusual for him to only practice once a week, so it's encouraging that he's going to have time to further develop his chemistry with quarterback Eli Manning.
However, it's not all good news coming out of Giants camp today. Big Blue practiced without Justin Tuck (shoulder), Ahmad Bradshaw (knee), Chris Snee (hip), and David Baas (hip/shoulder). Tuck was seen riding the stationary bike, while there were no signs of the other three injured players.
Ahmad Bradshaw has said on multiple occasions that he expects to play on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. However, that decision lies solely with the team medical staff. Bradshaw missed most of the Giants Week 14 win over the Saints due to a sprained left knee. He also did not make the trip to Atlanta last Sunday.
Where the injury situation gets further clouded is with Kenny Phillips and Prince Amukamara. The Giants secondary looked lost without their two former first-round picks on the field in Atlanta last weekend. Both players practiced today and should be ready to go on Sunday barring setbacks in their condition. However, there is still a lot of time between now and kickoff in Baltimore.
The Giants need to have as many healthy players as possible ready to go on Sunday. The team can not afford to play without Snee, Baas, Tuck, Bradshaw, Phillips or Amukamara against a physical Baltimore Ravens team. The more players on that list that are capable of suiting up on Sunday, the better chance the Giants have of winning. No team in the NFL has the depth to replace six key players and go on the road and beat a quality opponent. it should be interesting to see how the injury report evolves as the week progresses.
UPDATE: Head coach Tom Coughlin has informed the media that Tuck, Bradshaw, Snee and Baas should all practice tomorrow. It doesn't guarantee that they will all play, but it makes it more than likely we will see them on the field against the Baltimore Ravens.

Call me crazy but IMO Tuck not playing would be a positive. I want to see more of Tracy/Kiwi/Osi manning the position that Tuck currently occupies. I know, he has had decent games but he seems to just be going through the motions while he’s out there.
I would dress Ojomo this week and put Barden in street clothes.
I would also dress Brewer and put Beckum in street clothes.
I would dress Pee Wee Herman and put both Barden and Beckum in street clothes.
