The New York Giants injury report has been growing as of late, as offensive linemen Chirs Snee suffered an ankle injury in Big Blue's Week nine loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, the Giants are fortunate that this will be the final game before the bye week. Big Blue will have their time to rest and prepare for the stretch run, but they will have to fight through the Cincinnati Bengals first.
Let's take a look at the Giants' final injury report before they take off for the Queen City.
Michael Coe, Kenny Phillips and Jacquian Williams
David Bass, Chase Blackburn, Andre Brown, Hakeem Nicks, Bear Pascoe and Chris Canty
"As of right now, they've given me the go, so I'll be out there," Blackburn said.
The Giants will miss the presence of Kenny Phillips and Jacquian Williams for at least one more week. Both players bring size, speed, and athleticism that Big Blue has sorely lacked over the past few games. If Keith Rivers and Chase Blackburn can play, their skill sets would help minimize the loss of those two players, but needless to say Big Blue will once again be shorthanded on the defensive side of the ball this week.
Ahmad Bradshaw is listed as questionable, but he is fully expected to play. Furthermore, Chris Snee returned to practice today so he looks to be on track to take the field on Sunday as well. Hakeem Nicks' knee swelled up on him this week, but it also looks as if he should be suiting up.The Giants will have all their offensive weapons on the field this weekend against a suspect defense, so it's about time Eli and Co. get back on track and put up some points.
