Player/Coach Quotes:

Michael Boley

“This team has gotten better from what we left off last year,” Boley said. “The way we ended last season gave us something to build on. It has to carry over. For us to accomplish what we did last year toward the end of last year and to finish winning it all, it’s something to definitely build going into the next year."

Justin Tuck:

“The good thing is we’ve got the right schedule,” Tuck said. “If we go about our business and play the way we’re capable of playing, they’re not going to be able to make excuses because we again play the toughest schedule in football. And that’s exciting. It’s the opportunity to play against the best. We’re going to get the opportunity to prove it.”

Mathias Kiwanuka:

“You feel it, you sense it, you hear it," Kiwanuka said. “People talk about it when they’re out there on the field. We’ve been in this situation before, you want to measure yourself up against the best, and it doesn’t matter where you’re at in terms of wins-losses in the season. If you get a chance at the defending champs, you’re going to give it your best shot."

John Mara:

“When I see the word ‘dynasty’ or ‘repeat,’ I just cringe,” Mara said. “I would tell you that it’s almost impossible to do it now, because the talent in this league is so spread out."

Brandon Carr:

"[The Giants] have had great success, winning two Super Bowls in five years, and I think guys are kind of getting tired of seeing that,” Carr said. "Now it's to the point guys are getting fed up. It's pretty much the attitude, ‘When is it going to be our time?'"

Inactives:

New York Giants – Prince Amukamara, James Brewer, Marvin Austin, Jerrel Jernigan, Da'Rel Scott, Adewale Ojomo and Mitch Petrus.

Dallas Cowboys - Jay Ratliff, Matt Johnson, David Arkin, Mike Jenkins, Danny McCray, Colin Cochart and Kyle Wilber.

These 3rd Infintry guys rapped us through those last 6 games last year, so you need to listen to them before the game! Definitely one of their better ones!

  3. GmenMania says:

WOW! Witten is active for the game.

    • BillyS says:

The medical staff should be ashamed of themselves. Of course Witten is going to say he’s fine and can play. That doesn’t mean he’s healthy. Why would you even think of risking him when all it takes is 1 solid shot that’ll send him to the hospital with a fully ruptured spleen.

  4. norm says:

    Cowboys 17 Giants 13

    Where’s Benton’s prediction

    Tom Rock ?@TomRock_Newsday
Mike Jenkins, Matt Johnson, Danny McCray, Kyle Wilber, David Arkin, Colin Cochart, Jay Ratliff inactive for Cowboys.

  7. jfunk says:

Cannot believe Witten is playing. I fear for his safety, but we need to hit him early and often. If he’s on the field, he’s fare game.

  8. kujo says:

    Beatty active but Locklear starting

  9. kujo says:

Boley out; Rivers starting at WILL

  10. kujo says:

Respect to Witten for being the tough SOB that we all know he is.

But he shouldn’t be on the field.

Not surprised, though. This is the same medical staff that allowed Romo back on the field in the same game in which he broke some ribs and punctured his lung.
