Jagr told his Facebook fans that the 2013-14 NHL season likely marks the end of the road. The 41-year-old Jagr has played 19 NHL season and has scored 681 goals and 1,007 assists in 1,391 regular season games. He will be looking for a third Stanley Cup after winning twice with the Penguins during his prime in 1990-91 and 1991-92. In 202 career playoff games, Jagr has scored 78 goals and 121 assists.
"It looks like it will be my last season, so I can't be too risky," Jagr wrote.
The Devils will be his seventh NHL team. He has played for the Penguins, Capitals, Rangers, Flyers, Stars and Bruins.
