After losing NT Vince Wilfork to a season ending achilles injury, the New England Patriots had to bring in a defensive tackle as their depth was thin with Wilfork gone for the season and Tommy Kelly still nursing a knee injury.
They ended up signing Andre Neblett last week before Sunday's game. He was first signed on October 9, then released on October 12 in order to make room for Marcus Fortson, then re-signed on October 16 before playing in Sunday's game against the New York Jets.
Earlier today, Neblett was released from the team once again. Neblett has played three seasons all with the Carolina Panthers. Last season he played in 11 games and started two for the Panthers where he recorded 11 tackles and a half a sack.
