After releasing the first injury report on Wednesday, the injury report was updated yesterday and today with more definitive terms to each player. As reported before, offensive lineman Will Svitek will not play Sunday as he has been healing an undisclosed knee injury. Svitek hadn't practiced all week, so it really doesn't come as a surprise.
Meanwhile, tight end Rob Gronkowski has been practicing all week but is listed as doubtful as he continues to recover from offseason back and forearm surgery. Considering it is opening week and the Patriots are clearly the favorites in the division, I think it is safe to say that Gronkowski will end up sitting Sunday.
Finally, Danny Amendola is listed as probably as he works through a groin injury. Amendola tries to replace Wes Welker who had nine catches for 67 yards and two touchdowns in Denver's win last night over Baltimore. While his talent is great, he has had trouble staying healthy and it will be interesting to see how his groin holds up over the year.
