The New England Patriots have made yet another roster move today as they announced that they have re-signed fullback James Develin. Develin will be a part of the 53-man roster and is now the team's lone fullback.
Develin spent the majority of last season on the Patriots practice squad and was on the 53-man roster for four weeks of the 2012 season. The 25-year-old fullback is started in the United Football League and then joined the Cincinnati Bengals practice squad in 2010. He was with the Bengals for the entire 2011 season on the practice squad again and then was released and signed by the Patriots before the opening week of the 2012 NFL season.
The Patriots have probably been the most active team since the rosters were reduced to 53 players. According to a tweet from NFL.com's Albert Breer the Patriots have made 23 transactions since the 53-man roster deadline. The Patriots also have 13 rookies on the roster, six of whom are undrafted.
