It is no secret that the New England Patriots have been trying anything and everything to improve their wide receiver corps heading into training camp. Well, Tuesday the Patriots aim to continue finding players to improve the position. As Patriots Football Weekly's Andy Hart reports, the New England Patriots are scheduled to workout free agent wide receiver Laurent Robinson sometime today.
Robinson visited the New York Jets on Monday but left without a deal. Robinson has played for the Atlanta Falcons, St. Louis Rams, Dallas Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars during his six year career in the NFL. His best season came back in 2011 with the Cowboys, when he had 54 receptions for 858 yards and 11 touchdowns.
If signed it will be interesting to see who the Patriots let go as they are already at their 90 man roster limit after signing Anthony Rashad White yesterday.
