Kwasniewski is following Kyle Larson's footsteps which have led Larson into a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series seat already. This season Kwasniewski and Larson are teammates with Turner Scott Motorsports in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.
The Las Vegas, Nevada native signed the deal in his hometown after finishing 24th in the Nationwide Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday. It was his first trip to a 1.5 mile track and he had his struggles with a practice crash and also crashing in the race.
"I am extremely happy right now and thrilled to be getting this opportunity with Chip and the whole team," Kwasniewski said. "I have wanted to do nothing but race for as long as I can remember so this is a dream come true. I look forward to being part of Chip's organization and will hopefully be a key contributor to its future success."
