Martins Motorsports announced on Wednesday that the team will compete with two cars full time in the NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2014. Willie Allen will drive the No. 76 and Tommy Joe Martins will drive the No. 67.
Martins Motorsports is based in Nashville, Tennessee.
The 33-year-old Allen is from Bon Aqua, Tennessee and has 29 career Nationwide Series starts between 2006 and 2011. He also has made 32 career Camping World Truck Series starts between 2005 and 2010. In 2007 Allen ran the full Truck schedule for ThorSport Racing in the No. 13 truck and finished 15th in the points. He also won the Rookie of the Year honors that season.
The 27-year-old Martins is from Como, Mississippi and has never started a Nationwide Series race. He has made five career Truck Series starts four of which came in 2009 and the last in 2011.
