Sources have told FOXSports.com that Joe Gibbs Racing will have Kyle Busch and Sam Hornish Jr share time in the team's No. 54 Toyota in the NASCAR Nationwide Series for the 2014 season. An official announcement of the decision has not been made by JGR or Sam Hornish Jr.
Hornish finished second in the Nationwide Series standings last season only three points behind Austin Dillon but his Penske Racing team could not find sponsorship for him to stay with them.
In 2013 Busch drove 26 of the 33 Nationwide Series events in the No. 54 JGR Toyota and won 12 times. It is expected that Busch would run a similar amount and Hornish would fill out the remainder of the schedule.
