The three-time defending Formula 1 champion Sebastian Vettel is well on his way to a fourth and his recent 2013 dominance continued on Saturday when he won his third straight pole position at the Korean Grand Prix.
The Red Bull driver will try to turn the pole into his fourth straight win. He has six poles on the season and 42 in his career now. He is looking for win number eight in 2013 as the F1 calendar only hits its 14th race.
Lewis Hamilton for Mercedes will start second and Mark Webber for Red Bull was third quick. He will have to start from 13th though after serving a 10 spot grid penalty from an infraction at the end of the Singapore Grand Prix.
That moves Romain Grosjean and Lotus up to third on the grid. Nico Rosberg for Mercedes will start fourth, with Ferrari's Fernando Alonso fifth and Felipe Massa sixth. Sauber had both their drivers in Q3 and Nico Hulkenberg will start seventh and Esteban Gutierrez eighth. Kimi Raikkonen will start ninth for Lotus and Sergio Perez in tenth for McLaren. Jenson Button will roll off from 11th for McLaren.
The Korean Grand Prix can be seen at 2 a.m. ET on the NBC Sports Network.
