On Saturday night at Spokane County Raceway in Airway Heights, Washington Greg Pursley drove away late in the Toyota/NAPA Auto Parts 150 for the victory. It was the third win in 10 NASCAR K&N Pro Series West races for Pursley in 2013 and the 16th of the 45-year-olds career.

Pursley's Gene Price Motorsports teammate Cameron Hayley was on the pole for the third straight race and sixth time in the season, however, he is still looking for his first career win. Pursley started alongside Hayley and was able to take the lead on the opening lap of the race.

He led the first five laps until Hayley passed him for the lead on lap 6. Hayley then led through lap 36 when Michael Self took the top spot on lap 37. The fourth and final caution of the race came out on lap 105 for a spin by John Wood. After the restart Pursley made a charged back to the front.

Pursley grabbed the lead from Self on lap 115 and pulled away over the final 35 laps to win by a margin of 2.259 seconds. Derek Thorn also made a late charge and finished in second. Cameron Hayley finished third and Giles Thornton fourth. Patrick Staropoli finished in fifth in his first career NASCAR K&N Pro Series West start.

Michael Self faded to finish in sixth after leading a race-high 78 laps. Dylan Lupton was seventh, Travis Milburn eighth, and Braeden Havens was the last lead lap car in ninth. Luis Tyrrell finished one lap down in tenth and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series owner and part-time driver Michael Waltrip finished one lap down in 11th.

With five races remaining in the season Derek Thorn leads the points by 23 over Cameron Hayley. Michael Self is 29 points back in third and Greg Pursley is 31 points back in fourth. Dylan Lupton is fifth but 69 points back.

The iON Utah Grand Prix at Miller Motorsports Park is the next race up but not until September 14th.
