Go Green Racing announced Thursday that veteran crew chief Ben Leslie will join the team as crew chief starting immediately. Leslie will join the team prior to Friday night's Food City 250 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Leslie will bring a wealth of experience to the young team. His NASCAR career as a crew chief started back in 1998 working with driver Johnny Benson Jr at Roush Racing. Leslie has 167 races under his belt as a crew chief in the Sprint Cup Series with one win coming with Mark Martin back in the 2002 season. In the Nationwide Series Leslie has 14 races on top of the pit box, including four races this season with driver Robert Richardson Jr.

The team will run three different drivers over  the next several races. Kyle Fowler will run for the team in the next two races at Bristol Motor Speedway and Atlanta Motor Speedway. Jeffery Earnhardt will take over driving duties following Fowler at both Richmond International Raceway and Kentucky Speedway. Maryeve Dufault will make her Nationwide Series debut for the team at Chicagoland Speedway.

The #79 Go Green Racing Ford currently sits 23rd in the NASCAR Nationwide Series owner point standings using several drivers throughout the season.
