After suffering near life-threatening injuries from an accident at Kokomo Speedway in Indiana four years ago, racecar driver Ricky Erhgott is ready to make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut this weekend at Pocono Raceway for the running of the third annual Pocono Mountains 125.
Erhgott had successful surgery after the accident and battled back to race in the ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards, including an impressive third place finish at the season opening race at Daytona International Speedway this season.
Erhgott will be driving the #81 Toyota for SS-Greenlight Racing and owner Bobby Dotter. The team currently sits 20th in owner points and has finished 13th twice this season with David Starr behind the wheel. Kenny Wallace ran the truck at Eldora Speedway and finished in the 17th position.
