Former Michigan State Spartan golfer Matthew Moseley has recently received a sponsors invitation to compete at the ISPS Handa Wales Open on the PGA European Tour. This event will be taking place at The Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, Wales. The event will commence during the last weekend of the month.
Moseley’s senior season was his best. He was named to the PING All-Midwest Region team as well as second-team All-Big Ten. He led the Spartans throughout the season with a scoring average of 73.92, which ranks 14th in school history. In addition he posted nine top-25 finishes in 12 stroke play events. Three of them were top five finishes. He won the Colleton River Collegiate event as well as qualified for the NCAA regionals where he tied for 22nd place.
He finished his collegiate career number seven for career scoring averages in school history with 74.84.
