Just when the Miami Dolphins were moving forward with new leadership in the front office and a fresh face or two on the sideline, offensive lineman Richie Incognito starts tweeting. The formally suspended guard put his thumbs to work, tweeting messages to teammate Jonathon Martin. The messages stated that the "truth would bury" Martin.
Team owner Jeff Ross has stated that neither player may not return to the team. Free agency begins on March 11 and the Dolphins are working to shore up shortcomings on the offensive line, backfield and other trouble spots. ESPN.com and USA Today Sports reported that "Dolphins owner Stephen Ross said last week that he didn't think Incognito or Martin would return to the team in 2014. Martin is under contract and could be traded or released. Martin has re-enrolled at Stanford, where he is taking a full load of classes, working out at a local football facility and scheduled to graduate this spring with a degree in classics."
The team is still awaiting the Ted Wells report on the locker room situation. The NFL should have all of its findings within the next two weeks.
