After playing four of their eight preseason games, the Los Angeles Lakers are beginning to finalize their regular season roster. The storied franchise has waived centers Dan Gadzuric and Eric Boateng.
This move should come as no surprise since Gadzuric and Boateng were simply brought in to provide more bodies during practice.
Both centers only played in one preseason game. While Gadzuric put up a solid performance in limited minutes scoring two points and grabbing three rebounds, Boateng's game was unspectacular, as he gave up four fouls and four turnovers in 12 minutes.
The Lakers will probably waive Darius Johnson-Odom and Marcus Landry to reduce their roster to 15 players. The team doesn't need another point guard in Johnson-Odom, and Landry hasn't been shooting the ball well through the first half of the preseason.
