Mascot and Cheerleaders

The Kings are supported by Bailey, a six foot lion. He wears a number 72 jersey, representing the average temperature of the Staples Center. He is the second mascot in the history of the franchise, joining a snow leopard named Kingston who was introduced in 1994. Bailey is one of the few mascots to be involved in corporate ads, appearing in commercials for Carls Jr.

Bailey is joined by the Ice Crew of the Kings, a group of cheerleaders who come onto the ice during intermissions. They are scantily clad in smaller versions of Kings’ jerseys, while picking up some of the ice throughout the rink.
