Mayor Eric Garcetti of Los Angeles, and Mayor Tom Tait of Anaheim will join forces on Saturday August 9, to clean up the L.A. River. It will begin at 10:00 am. at Marsh Park, 2960 Marsh Street, Los Angeles, CA 90039.

Back in May, the two mayors bet community service projects as the Kings and Ducks faced off in the second round of the NHL Western Conference Playoffs. The Kings defeated the Ducks in Game 7, moving on to win the Stanley Cup against the New York Rangers on June 13, in which Garcetti won a bet against the mayor of New York as well.

The mayors will be joined by Bailey, the L.A. Kings mascot, Colonel Kim Colloton of the US Army Corps of Engineers, and other elected officials.
