The Los Angeles Kings have agreed to terms on a new three-year contract with restricted free agent Dwight King, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced Wednesday.
The 25-year-old left wing is a native of Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. King has appeared in 157 career NHL regular season games. King has totaled 54 points (24G-30A), 41 penalty minutes and a plus-14 rating.
During the 2013-14 season, King led his team with two short-handed goals, earned his first career hat trick, and set new career highs for most games played (77), most goals (15), most assists (15) and most points (30) in one season.
King also appeared in all 26 Kings postseason games, helping the team to its second Stanley Cup championship in three years by totaling 11 points (3G-8A), 20 penalty minutes and a plus-4 rating.
