Hockey is the only sport that does this. Where the championship trophy gets to spend a day with each player of the team. It’s a lot of planning and scheduling, but it gets done seamlessly every time. The first time it was new for the Kings in 2012, but in 2014 they were much more familiar with the process. This summer the Los Angeles Kings will once again be the team that spends the summer with the greatest trophy in sports, The Stanley Cup.
