Dean Lombardi of the Los Angeles Kings, Bob Murray of the Anaheim Ducks and Marc Bergevin of the Montreal Canadiens are the finalists for General Manager of the Year Award. This is the first time Lombardi is a finalist but Murray and Bergevin have been finalists in 2010. The winner of the award will be announced at the NHL Awards at Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas on June 24. The winner is voted on by 30 NHL general managers.
One thing they do not mention which is probably the main reason why he is a finalist is because of the team identity he helped construct since he joined the Kings in 2006.Tags: Hockey, Los Angeles, Los Angeles Kings, NHL
