The Los Angeles Kings players are arriving to Sochi and here is an update on their status.

Anze Kopitar: Arrived. Is the only NHL player on Slovenia’s roster so he will bring a lot to the team since he is an all-around player that understands the game very well.

Slava Voynov: Arrived. Andrei Markov and Alexei Emelin of the Montreal Canadiens, were not paired together when Team Russia had its first practice at Bolshoy Ice Dome, instead Markov was paired with Slava Voynov of the Kings.

Dustin Brown(alternate captain for Team USA): Team USA took the ice at Bolshoy Ice Dome for its first practice to help fight jet lag and time zone adjustment. Brown skated alongside Ryan Kesler of the Vancouver Canucks (whom he fought with two weeks ago but is good with now) and Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks.

Jonathan Quick: Arrived. Team USA took the ice at Bolshoy Ice Dome for its first practice to help fight jet lag and time zone adjustment. Quick highly considered to be chosen as the No.1 goalie for Team USA.

Jeff Carter: Arrived. Carter spent Canada’s first practice at Bolshoy Ice Dome skating next to Sidney Crosby and Chris Kunitz, which is expected to be the number one line for Team Canada.

Drew Doughty: Arrived. Doughty spent Canada’s first practice at Bolshoy Ice Dome and was paired with San Jose Sharks’s Marc-Edouard Vlasic.
