Los Angeles Kings Head Equipment Manager Headed to Sochi

Los Angeles Kings Head Equipment Manager Darren Granger headed to the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

He will represent his country and family as the equipment manager for Team Canada.

Previously he has represented Canada at the 1999, 2006, 2008, and 2010, World Championships, the 1996 World Cup and the 1992 World Junior Championships.

Granger was previously the assistant equipment manager for the Vancouver Canucks until he joined the Kings in the summer of 2006.

He joins Dean Lombardi (USA Men’s National Team Advisory Group), Dieter Ruehle (who will play the organ and recorded music), Slava Voynov (Russia), Anze Kopitar (Slovenia), Jeff Carter and Drew Doughty (Canada), Dustin Brown and Jonathan Quick (USA) of the Kings in Sochi.
