Los Angeles Kings: Stadium Series Acts Announced

Platinum recording artist and actress Jordin Sparks, Chart-topping singer/songwriter John Ondrasik of Five for Fighting, and the USC Trojan Marching Band will be joining legendary band KISS as featured performers at the Stadium Series game at Dodger Stadium between the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks on Saturday, Jan. 25, the NHL announced today.

Jordin Sparks will perform the U.S. National Anthem, John Ondrasik of Five for Fighting will perform during the second intermission, USC Trojan Marching Band will perform as part of the pre-game festivities, and KISS the first intermission. The game will be broadcast live at 6:30 p.m. PT / 9:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN in the U.S. and on CBC and RDS2 in Canada.

The musical performances will take place on two stages on the field. One of the stages will be a special design created by Los Angeles art legend Mister Cartoon with the help from his star pupils at Para Los Niños. Para Los Niños is a local non-profit organization providing high-quality education, family support services and community engagement programs to families. Mister Cartoon aslos created a apparel collection for the Kings this season.

According to the NHL, the entertainment for the 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series is being produced by RK Productions in association with Big Monkey Entertainment.
