Legendary Ban KISS To Perform at Los Angeles Kings vs Anaheim Ducks Stadium Series Game

KISS-Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer will perform during the pre-game festivities and first intermission of the Los Angeles Kings vs. Anaheim Ducks Stadium Series game at Dodger Stadium on January 25, 2014, the NHL announced. It will be broadcast live at 6:30 p.m. PT / 9:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN in the U.S. and on CBC and RDS2 in Canada.

On December 27, 2013, a claim made on the Twitter account of KISS co-founder Gene Simmons states that KISS will be performing at the Stadium Series.

“YES. KISS IS PLAYING THERE. RT @njdevs1982: @genesimmons Are you going to the Kings Ducks outdoor hockey game Jan. 25 at Dodgers Stadium? -Gene Simmons (@genesimmons) “

On December 3 before the Kings vs. Ducks game at Honda Center Simmons and co-founder of KISS Paul Stanley dropped the ceremonial first puck. They dropped the puck for captains Dustin Brown and Ryan Getzlaf. They also dropped the puck at the Kings vs. Minnesota Wild game at STAPLES Center on January 7, 2014.

In 2014, KISS celebrates the 40th anniversary of the release of their first album, KISS.

The full line-up of performers and game day festivities will be announced in the coming weeks.

According to the NHL, the entertainment for the 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™ is being produced by RK Productions in association with Big Monkey Entertainment.
