The Los Angeles Kings have activated forward Trevor Lewis on Saturday and placed Colin Fraser on the injured reserve, along with goaltender Jonathan Quick, who is on long-term injured reserve.

Kings forward Trevor Lewis was activated from the injured reserve before Saturday’s game against the Ottawa Senators, returning to the line-up with Jordan Nolan and Daniel Carcillo, after being out for nine games due to a lower-body injury.

Lewis has been held without a point and recorded a minus-4 rating in 23 games this season so far.

Also on Saturday, Colin Fraser was placed on injured reserve with an upper body injury suspected to be a concussion. The forward left the game against the Toronto Maple Leafs after being helped off the ice at 7:19 in the second period with an injury after being checked into the boards by the Maple Leafs forward, Frazer McLaren.

Fraser has one assist, a minus-3 rating, and 18 penalty minutes in 17 games this season.

Matt Greene was taken off of the injured reserve prior to Tuesday’s game agains the Montreal Canadiens but has not played yet.

Prior to Tuesday, Greene had missed 15 games with an undisclosed upper-body injury. Greene has two goals and an assist with a plus-5 rating in 15 games this season.

In Los Angeles, goaltender Jonathan Quick has skated two days in a row. Lisa Dillman of the LA Times reports a club official saying that “Quick’s recovery process from a groin injury will proceed at a slow pace to help guard against possible setbacks.”

Quick who hasn’t played since suffering a grade two groin injury during the overtime of a 3-2 shootout loss in Buffalo against the Buffalo Sabres on November 12, has played 16 games, 10-5-0, with a Goals Against Average of 2. 35 and a Save Percentage of .905. This is Quick’s first year playing in 10-year, 58-million dollar contract.

The Kings finish their four game road trip on Sunday against the Chicago Blackhawks, 4:00 p.m. at United Center.
