Los Angeles Kings center Matt Frattin returned to the line-up from is lower-body injury in the game against the St. Louis Blues on Monday, December 2.

Frattin was held out of practice on Friday November 22 for what coach Darryl Sutter called “maintenance”, was a healthy scratch from Saturday, November 23rd’s game against the Colorado Avalanche and did not travel with the team to play the Vancouver Canucks and San Jose Sharks. He also didn’t play on Saturday, November 30’s game against the Calgary Flames.

Other players that have returned to the line-up from being on injured reserve this season are Kyle Clifford (undisclosed upper-body), Jeff Carter (foot), Jarret Stoll (upper-body), and Jordan Nolan, who was active on the roster but had not been playing due to a undisclosed injury.

The players that remain on the injured reserve are Jonathan Quick (grade two groin), Matt Greene (upper-body) and Trevor Lewis (lower-body).

Quick is not expected to return until late December according to Kings general manager Dean Lombardi. Ben Scrivens has been starting for the Kings since the injury in the game against the Buffalo Sabres on November 12.

Lewis was placed on the injured reserve when Kyle Clifford returned to the line-up, and its possible Lewis’ injury came from the game against the New Jersey Devils on November 21, where it was recorded twice that Lewis was hit by a Devils player.

Matt Greene has been taking steps to rehabilitate by taking the ice at Toyota Sports Center through rigorous conditional training with Kings assistant coach Davis Payne.

Greene’s injury is undisclosed and expected to be long-term.

The next Kings game is on Tuesday December 3, against the Anaheim Ducks for the first time this season at Honda Center, 7:00 p.m.
