The Los Angeles Kings Matt Frattin was a healthy scratch from Saturday’s game against the Colorado Avalanche, and will not travel with the team to Vancouver and San Jose in the coming week, due to a lower-body injury.
When Frattin was held out of practice on Friday, Kings Coach Darryl Sutter described to lakingsinsider.com that it was basically maintenance.
Sutter said he will leave Frattin at home and go from there.
Frattin, has six points (2G-4A), in his 22 games with the Kings.
The 25-year old has now joined goaltender Jonathan Quick (grade two groin), Jordan Nolan (who is active on the roster but hasn’t been playing for an undisclosed injury), and injured reserve players Jeff Carter (foot), Matt Greene (upper-body), and Trevor Lewis (lower-body).
