At 2:32 in overtime, the Kings on the power play, not able to get numerous chances through, finally, Doughty passes it to Kopitar ,and Kopitar fires the puck with a slap-shot to the net and the Kings win it in overtime.
The Kings had a total of seven power play opportunities in the game and the Sharks had five. The Kings outshot the Sharks 23-20, led 46-21 in hits, and 39-23 in face-off wins.
