NHL.com has released the top 200 overall fantasy hockey player rankings, as determined by fantasy experts Matt Cubeta, Pete Jensen, Matt Sitkoff, and Chris Foster.
The experts, as stated on NHL.com, use past statistics, potential line-mates, injuries, and much more when producing these rankings and everyone’s opinion is different. After taking each experts opinion into account, you are provided with a big- picture view of each player's impending fantasy value.
This year, nine players from the Kings roster were on the list:
#7- Goaltender Jonathan Quick
#28- Center Anze Kopitar
#86- Defenseman Drew Doughty
#93- Left Wing and Captain Dustin Brown
#101- Left Wing Jeff Carter
#110- Center Mike Richards
#114- Right Wing Justin Williams
#128- Defenseman Slava Voynov
NHL.com states that these rankings project value in standard fantasy hockey leagues, which include a 6×4 category scoring system: goals, assists, plus-minus, power-play points, shots on goal, penalty minutes, goalie wins, goals-against-average, save percentage and shutouts.
Keep in mind that the projections should be looked at as expert opinions from a fantasy not a League standpoint.
