Los Angeles Kings center Jarret Stoll suffered a seizure at his Hermosa Beach residence Wednesday morning and was rushed to Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrence, reports the Los Angeles Times.
Kings General Manager Dean Lombardi said that Stoll underwent a series of tests and is expected to be released from the hospital before the end of the day.
"Everything is ok," Lombardi told the LA Times. "They've run some tests and they still had another one to run. The bottom line is that he's fine. Now the issue is what caused it."
In May, Stoll suffered the second concussion of his career after a hit to the head by San Jose Sharks forward Raffi Torres in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs (shown below).
The 10-year veteran also suffered a concussion as a member of the Edmonton Oilers during the 2006-07 season, causing him to miss a total of 30 games.
