Los Angeles Dodgers Spring Training Games Begin Against Arizona Diamondbacks

And just like that, the games are finally here. The Los Angeles Dodgers begin their Cactus League schedule against the Arizona Diamondbacks today. Though many of the Dodger regulars — Hanley Ramirez, A.J. Ellis, Adrian Gonzalez and Andre Ethier — will not make the trip to Scottsdale, there is plenty of intrigue for the first preseason game of the year. Clayton Kershaw gets the start, and Dodger fans will get their first look at Alexander Guerrero at second base.

Reclamation project Chone Figgins will play shortstop and leadoff, while Scott Van Slyke’s versatility has him playing at first base. Highly touted prospect Joc Pederson will get some action in center field and Justin Turner will suit up as a Dodger for the first time in a live game (beyond the intrasquad games).

The game begins at 12:10 pm PST and will be broadcast live on SportsNet LA. For those who do not yet have the channel, MLB Network will be carrying the game, though it will not air until 6 pm PST. Here are the lineups for both the Dodgers and the Diamondbacks:
