Los Angeles Dodgers Face Unique Spring Training Schedule

Pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report on February 8th, less than one week from today. This signals that the offseason is very nearly over, and aside from some concerns regarding the infield depth, it appears the Los Angeles Dodgers are prepared to enter the season as currently constructed. This does not preclude any moves of course, as general manager Ned Colletti has always made a point to listen to any and all offers.

The Dodgers will have the first workout for pitchers and catchers on February 9th at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Arizona, with position players reporting on the 13th for their first workout on the 14th.

The Dodgers Spring Training schedule is quite different from most years due to the logistics of playing the Opening Day game in Sydney, Australia. The team will play two regular-season games there before returning to Los Angeles for an exhibition series against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

The club’s first Spring Training game is scheduled for February 26th against the Arizona Diamondbacks at their facility. Below you will find a listing of all the club’s important spring dates as the regular season quickly approaches:
