Angels third baseman Escobar has mild right oblique strain

The Los Angeles Angels have given an update on injured third baseman Yunel Escobar, who underwent an MRI and has a mild, grade one strain in his right oblique.

The Angels expect that the injury will take 2-3 weeks to recover, and have placed Escobar on the 10-day disabled list. No corresponding move has been announced.
