The divisional assignments for the 2013 NFL regular season schedule were released by the league Friday.
The Indianapolis Colts and the rest of the AFC South division will be matched against the AFC and NFC West divisions, respectively, next season.
Home and away assignments were also included in the announcement. Of the team's opponents from the AFC West, Indianapolis will host Denver and Oakland, while traveling to Kansas City and San Diego.
Among NFC West opponents, Indianapolis will play home games against St. Louis and Seattle and will travel to Arizona and San Francisco.
The team also will play its regular home and home series against fellow division opponents Houston, Tennessee and Jacksonville.
The Colts have clinched a second-place finish in the AFC South division this season and have been paired with fellow second-place finishers in the AFC North and East divisions as its final two opponents. The Colts will face Cincinnati on the road out of the AFC North, while hosting a game against either Miami or the New York Jets.
Miami currently is in second-place in the AFC East this season, with New York in third. If New York were to win its game in week 17 and Miami were to lose, Indianapolis would play New York. All other scenarios would end with Miami being the team's opponent next season.
All game dates and times will be announced at a later date.
