Tiger Woods, who collapsed after hitting his tee shot on the 13th hole, gathered himself and still managed to almost get into a playoff with Adam Scott at the Barclay's. He birdied 16 and 17, and nearly holed his putt off of the 18th green to match Scott a -11.
Gary Woodland, the third round co-leader coming in, also nearly made a putt that would have tied Scott on eighteen, but it darted away from the cup in the last few inches.
Adam Scott's victory is his second of the year, and first since he won the Green Jacket at Augusta this past April He's moved into second place in the FedEx Cup Points race, while Tiger Woods retained his lead.
This was a tournament that no one seemed to want to win as Scott looked as surprised as anyone that his scored held up. More on this great finish tomorrow morning.
